Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to London, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel DC in Stratford, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel boasts a fantastic location in the vibrant East End, surrounded by an array of shops, restaurants, and art galleries. I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly, always ready to offer practical guidance about the area, which truly added to the comfort of my stay. The room itself was modern and impeccably clean, equipped with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle—perfect for enjoying a cup of tea after a long day of meetings. While a little compact, the intimate setting fostered a cozy atmosphere, making it easy to wind down alongside colleagues or friends. I particularly appreciated the fast WiFi and the complimentary coffee and water available in the lounge area, which kept us fueled throughout our busy days. One minor drawback was the breakfast service, which was decent but experienced some delays during peak times. The wide variety of options more than made up for the wait. I would like to see more attention paid to dietary requirements, as gluten-free choices were limited.
